Pierce is 46 weeks old.
His first birthday is getting closer and closer.
I only have 6 more weeks of Saturday pictures.
We enjoyed the beautiful weather outside.
Pierce enjoyed his dinner.
He shared some (lots) of it with Murree.
Pierce and Lucas played in the pool with the balls.
Daddy and Pierce
Pierce loves the sand. He likes to eat it.
Lucas and Pierce played in the sand.
Day 1 - ISR swim lessons
They focused on getting him used to the water and started working on the back float.
Pierce's favorite place to pull up is his bathtub.
Thanks Becky for the precious golf shirt!!!
Legos are fun!!!
I tried to use the chair to keep Pierce in the room. It didn't work! He moved the chair and climbed right through.
"You can slow me down, but you can't stop me." Silly boy!
"Mommy, I want to go outside."
How can you say no to that cute face!?!
He likes to climb on Murree's bed. Hair, hair everwhere!!!
Daddy taught Pierce how to make noises with his tongue. He does it all of the time. He is doing it while crawling.
He decided to move the jumparoo so that he could crawl behind it.
Uh oh - he is banging on the glass. I'm in big trouble!
He has a playroom full of toys, but this seems to be more entertaining. Yikes!
"Outside again!!!"
Pierce loves his baby pool and rings.
Look at me.
Sophia came over to swim with us.
Lucas and Catherine also joined us.
I am the king of the baby pool!
We are ready for day 2 of our lessons.
Pierce is waiting for his turn.
They practiced breath control during the back float. Poor guy, he cried.
His teacher is so kind and patient with him.
He is going to be a floating machine in a few weeks.
Practice, practice, practice
She focused on his breathing first, and she'll focus on his arms and legs later.
I could hear him saying, "mum, mum, mmmuuuum".
The lessons only last ten minutes each but boy do they wear him out!
We went to Jacqueline's for a play date.
He enjoyed splashing the water.
He is saying "llla lalalala lalalal" as Daddy taught him.
Pierce and Peyton enjoyed the balls.
He decided to climb out.
The ball pit was a lot of fun too.
We received play dough as a party favor so we decided to try it out.
I put it in a plastic bag so that he wouldn't try to eat it.
He wasn't very interested and kept throwing it on the ground.
I caved and took it out of the bag.
He did exactly what I thought he woud do and took a bite.
10 month old + play dough = negative
Day 3 of swim lessons - They focused on chin placement. His teacher worked with him to put his chin back.
We went to the zoo on Thursday and Friday. Pierce sat with Loretta, Kami's mom.
He pointed at the bears.
Pierce loves the spashpad at Discovery Green.
What a great week!!!!
