Pierce loves to climb onto his table.

We went to storytime at the Fish Gallery.  He and Jacob were ready for the book.

He was able to pet several ocean animals.  He wasn't quite sure what to think about it.

Silly boy...having fun!

He was talking away, and I'm sure that it was something very important!

The rain didn't stop us from having a good time!

Rice, rice, rice!  Pierce LOVES rice.

While I cooked dinner, these two dish towels entertained Pierce.  He was hilarious!

Dish towels are the best!

We enjoyed the morning at Godwin Park.

Pierce climbed up.

He wanted to do his own thing.

Murree, Daddy, and Pierce

Pierce loves to climb on top of the coffee table.

We went to the Memorial City Mall.  Pierce didn't like the car so we had to take him out of it.  We'll try again in a few weeks.

He loved the play area at the mall.

I can spin these around.

He climbed up and slid down the slide.

He is taking steps, but he is much faster while crawling.

Pierce likes his new bike.

I'm ready to go for a ride.

He had so much fun pushing it around the kitchen.

Pierce loves this Mardi Gras bead.  This is the first time that he enjoyed wearing it around his neck.  He took it off, put it on, took it off, put it on, etc.

We went back to the play area at the Memorial City Mall.  Pierce likes to climb up the slide.

He is going up the stairs to go back down the slide.

Whee, this is fun.

He enjoyed spinning these in circles.

My baby boy is making me nervous.  I'm a little afraid of what is yet to come.

Pierce pulled Murree's food out of the pantry.

Yikes, he also pulled out a box of wine glasses.

He sat on the box of wine glasses.

We went to the zoo with baby Luke.

He loves to look at the fish.

The zoo wore him out.

We enjoyed lunch at Ruggles Cafe.  Pierce's favorite part was decorating a cookie.  I chose the lightest color icing that I could find to avoid stains as much as possible.

He ditched the cookie and went straight for the icing.

"Hey, it's just like a bottle but better!"

"OH Yeah!!!"

Pierce played with Eliska's kitchen.

He liked pulling things out of the refridgerator.

We had a blast at the Evergreen park.

Now that Piece is walking, he is getting more and more daring.

Pierce enjoyed his first lollipop.  Yes, he was one sticky boy afterwards.

 Pierce loves his table.

He and Eliska played with Mommy's old cell phones.  They make the best toys.

"Hey Eliska, let's call each other."

The 3 amigos....Vincent, Eliska, and Pierce (cousins)

Eliska is an awesome big cousin.  He takes care of the boys.

Eliska pulled Pierce in his lego wagon.

 He loved the ride.

He cried when we took him out of it.  Unfortunately, there will be no more wagon rides.  The red part flips back, and Pierce fell out of it.  Yikes!

We love sleepovers with cousin Eliska.

They squeezed in some snuggles before we put Pierce to bed.

Pierce is ready for his next carseat.

Eliska taught Pierce how to write.

He watched everything that she did.

"I want to do what she does."

We went back to the Evergreen park.

Pierce enjoyed watching Eliska run around.

 Sweet Eliska

 Fun times

Eliska posed for a picture.  She asked me to take it.  I love it!

Pierce enjoyed the park, but it was hot!

It's fun Mom; you should try it.

He pushed the basket from room to room.

"I can have fun with anything!"

Pierce enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.

 Murree knows to stay close.

My big boy is walking around the kitchen.

 He is a silly guy.

Pierce turned in his first reading log at the Houston Public Library.

We read 20 books this summer.  Actually, we read more than that, but we only had to record 20 on the reading log.

 He received a certificate.

Pierce loves to sit at tables with books.
