August (Part 2)

The 2nd Half of August

 

 

Pierce loves the splash pad at Discovery Green.

"Hey Mom, look at me!"

He also enjoyed the park.

Pierce and Lea walked around.

He was worn out.  We took a snack break.

"Look at him swim!"

He loves to climb up on the step stool and look at his new fish.

Pierce likes to ride his firetruck backwards.

We went to the splash pad in Sugarland.  It's snack time!

He watched Alex and Ago.

He made splashes in the water.

Pierce's cousins came over for a visit.

He loves to pull toys by their string.

This was our first time at the Tot Spot when Pierce could walk.

He loved the door!!!

Look at him go up and down the ramp.

Of course, he had to take the truck for a spin.

These doors make noise when you open them.  He giggled out loud every time.  It was so cute.

He went up and down the stairs.

It was time for a tea party.

Actually, he enjoyed throwing the cups and plates.

He loved these cones outside.

Oh no, why do they put everything in their mouth?

He loved this popper.  We have one at home that he never touches.

Pierce tried on Daddy's shoes.

He loves his golf clubs.

We had our play group over.  (Lucas, Pierce, Jacob, and Josie)

Pierce loves kisses from Murree.

Pierce and Jacob played basketball.

He shoots...he scores!!!

Pierce loves to stand on his head.

Jacob and Pierce enjoyed dancing.

 They were dancing machines.

Pierce and Javier stirred their pretend ice cream.

Our buddy loves to open and close doors.  He plays with this door every day.

Pierce is cruising on his firetruck.

He climbed into the wagon and wants to go for a ride.

Pierce has quite an arm.  He threw his football.

Pierce got a hold of my make-up brush.

We had a play date at Izabella's house.

We played in the tent.

We had dinner at Luby's.

This was the first time that we ordered a meal at a restaurant for Pierce.  He loved his first restaurant meal.

He also loved the balloon.

Balloons are a blast!

Murree came over to see what all of the excitement was about.

If you ask Pierce to smile, this is what you get.  He sticks out his two bottom teeth.  I love it!!!

Pierce enjoyed the fish at the zoo.

He and Izabella looked at the fish.

We went to the splash pad at the zoo.

He liked the little puddles.

He had fun running around.

Mommy had fun chasing him.

Snack time

The zoo wore Pierce out.  He fell asleep on the walk to the car.

After his nap, we played outside.

We went to the Galleria play area with Alex and Ago.

They enjoyed watching the water fall.

The boys loved the water.

I wonder if I can squeeze in more shopping trips if I promise to bring him by the water!  :)

We enjoyed lunch at the Nordstrom Bistro.

Daddy and Pierce went for a walk down the street.

He loves to be outside.

They looked precious holding hands.

 On their way back, they brought the Pinas.

 Eliska and Pierce held hands.

 Daddy gave Pierce some putting tips.

 When Pierce plays outside with Daddy, he loves to say hi through the window by pressing his face against it.  I couldn't resist and had to get a picture.

 Thank you Webbers for the play kitchen.  Mimi brought over a new cooking set.

 Pierce loves his pots that make boiling noises and light up.

 Daddy gave Pierce a ride in his laundry basket.

 Pierce wasn't so sure about it.

Pierce climbed into his toy box to reach a toy. 

 "What Mom?"

We had a play date at Josie's.  Pierce loves her big bear.

 We went back to the Galleria play area.

 Pierce enjoyed running all over.

 He climbed up there all by himself.

 He said hi to Guilliana.

 Daddy and Pierce read a book before bedtime.

 Pierce snuggled with his monkey.

 Pierce begs to go outside from sun up to sun down.  We played outside at 6:30 a.m. on this day.  He was covered in sand before 6:45 a.m.  He likes to throw it over his shoulders.  Silly boy!

 He had sand in his hair and all over his face.  He was covered from head to toe.

 And he loved every minute of it!!!

We went to lunch at Cafe Ruggles with baby Luke.

 Pierce loves their cookies.

 We went to Luke's house, and Pierce said hi to him.

 Pierce gave Murree a hug.  Poor Murree.

 He tried to lift the top off of his water table.  He almost got it, but Mommy gave him a hand.

Pierce loves peanut butter. 

 Pierce got a happy meal (his first ever) from Burger King.  He was checking out the toy.

 He loves his house. (Thank you Carlos and Meredith!)

 If it were up to Pierce, he would be outside the entire day.  I enjoy being outside, but it is HOT!

 Pierce played in his pack and play.

Ago came over to play.

 Pierce got ahold of this strap, and he had a blast playing with it.

Who needs toys?

We ended the month with a trip to DeRidder for Labor Day weekend.  I will post pictures of our fun weekend soon!
